Self-Reliant India Scheme: Part 5

Today, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has given Fifth and final tranche of measures of an economic package called "Atmanirbhar Bharat" as announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The stimulus measures braught in by the Government and the Reserve bank of india (RBI) together add up to Rs. 20.97 Lakh Crore, as said by the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

Seven Steps are announced today as last steps of measures of this economic package. 

1. MNREGA
2. Health - Rural and Urban including education
3. Businesses and Corona virus
4. Decriminalization of Companies Act
5. Ease of doing Business
6. Public Sector Enterprises
7. State Governments and related resources

Online PAN Application with DSC (Digital Signature Certificate)

Government of India has introduced a facility to avail PAN Card Online with the help of DSC (Digital Signature Certificate). In this process the applicant has to apply for online through NSDL website, fill and submit the form along with relevant document and valid DSC. Applicant need not to send physical documents to government and process can be speed up.  In case of discrepancies in the applicant is required to provide supporting documents to the NSDL in the address given below:
INCOME TAX PAN SERVICES UNIT (Managed by NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited), 5th floor, Mantri Sterling, Plot No. 341, Survey No. 997/8, Model Colony, Near Deep Bungalow Chowk, Pune – 411 016.
Who can apply for PAN through DSC? The facility is only for Indian citizens. The below persons can apply for online PAN through DSC:

b. Hindu Undivided Family (HUF)
c. Body of individuals
d. Partnership firm
e. Limited Liability firm
e. Company
f. Association of person
g. Trust
